Michael Taylor Anderson was 15 when he was nearly killed by a runaway car while saving his best friend and his brother. Dying on the operating table, he's saved from death by a brilliant experimental procedure developed by his father. The procedure was a stunning success. The only problem is, "Mike" is now a fifteen year old girl. Faced with this new life, Mike now has to pick up the pieces while coming to terms with her new identity, all while trying to stay out of the public eye.
Plunging the scientific community and the world at large into a moral dilemma, dodging overzealous news hounds and the cult of Claretology is just the least of her worries. She has to learn to deal with four uber-protective older brothers, getting back into the anime club at school, and learning to play the guitar all over again. Not to mention the fact that she's developing an unfamiliar attraction to her best friend.
