Sometimes we fear truth over reality. But things get dark and heavy and we play the blame game. We end up hurting others or ourselves even. We don't think before we act or we don't say before we do. Perfect Storm

He smirks and moves closer to me, coming to my side of the booth and caging me against the window. "I'll give you what you want if you do." "And what do I want?" I question, holding eye contact. She always hated the rich people she would see around the city. They had more money than they needed and didn't think to help the lower people. She was always alone. Her mother died when giving birth to her and her father gave her to her grandmother who died of old age before she could turn 3. She was orphaned and in foster homes her whole life, being alone was all she knew. On top of that her job as an exotic dancer barley covered her bills and she was late 3 months in payment. What was left for her? She had nothing. Until one of the club Clients offers her a deal that may change her life... "Unfortunately, I wish it was just a made-up story, something that belonged in the realm of fiction. But it isn't. I'm guessing it started happily at first. Just a naive 10-year-old enjoying what life threw at her. As they say, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. But I didn't. I longed for more. With my lemons, I wanted lemonade, lemon cake, lemon pie, honey and lemon juice, lemon tea, and even lemon water!" I guess now I can't have any of that anymore, right? I messed up big time, and I'll bear the consequences for it all. I just have one wish though... It's as though I'd have been better off never entering this world in the first place.Complete
