She was only thirteen when one Friday evening, her life changed forever.
The only thing it took for that change to happen was the simple gift of water she offered to a very thirsty baby dragon.....

"You have no idea what that fire feels like!" Pan finally admitted exsasperated.
"Oh, believe me; I do." I replied calmly placing my hand over his erratic heartbeat.
Then I leaned in and kissed him on the still healing scar above it.
He inhaled sharply,not expecting me to do that. But visibly relaxed after a moment.
"Faye, how are we going to win the war with this fire?"
He sounded and felt more exhausted than ever before.I understood quite well what he meant by that.
I smiled at him encouragingly though.
"We are bound together forever.. there's no way they stand a chance if we combine our fires together."
He stopped frowning and looked me in the eyes, searching my face.
Maybe deep down he had known the answer all along.
Then finally he smiled.
"Let's see who can stand against our fire then."
