"God Brooke, You're too innocent"
He leaned in slowly, closing the (already small) gap between us, about to press his lips against mine, but I turned my head to the side.
"I can't" I said, looking at him from the corners of my eyes.
"Why not?" He asked, licking his lips, whilst placing his hand lightly on the side of my face and bringing it back to face his. I closed my eyes, embarrassment already overcoming me,
"I don't know how" I whispered, opening my eyes to see his reaction.
"Well then" He replied, his familiar smirk, making an appearance.
"Let me teach you".

I took a looooong break from reading and writing. I've only just started reading again after years of not picking up a book and I hope to write again on wattpad in the future and finish this story. However it's going to be a while before I'm able to commit to that. Regarding the story, I'm not happy with the chapters and realise the first chapter moves wayyyy too quickly and reading back it's just too cringey so I will most likely be rewriting them all. Feel free to read the story in the meantime however :') thank you for the support - (14/09/22) and see you soon I hope <3
Nixon is the 3rd book in the Broken Series. (Ryan is the 1st, Brynn is the 2nd)
Nixon leaves rehab early because he can't deal with being there anymore. His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle. He makes a heartbreaking decision, thinking it's what's best for both of them and everything changes.
