Being a premature cat lady does have it's downsides. Being invisible to anyone besides your mom, not having any friends besides your cat, and not knowing what the word "boy" means are just some of the side affects. Katherine Bernis is what you would call a victim of the premature cat lady syndrome. But when the day comes, where everything Katherine knows gets ripped from beneath her kitty-slipper feet...
