Riley Kennedy remembers seeing the battle between the young DigiDestineds and Apocalymon, but what she didn't expect was to a part of it as well. After a fire that took her home and the life of her older brother, Riley's family moves to Odaiba (which they were going to do anyway because of her father's job). On her first day of attending her new school she meets Taichi "Tai" Kamiya and Koushiro "Izzy" Izumi while they were playing soccer. The ball got away from the boys and that's how the leader of the DigiDestineds met a girl who would be more than just a friend, but first she has to fight her own demons of her past and fight the darkness that's hiding inside.
