The first volume in the epic fantasy series Soulwoven.

Litnig Jin has spent his life yearning for the power to weave the souls of the dead into magic. His brother Cole has spent his believing in nothing bigger than his own two hands.

When a dragon sinks its claws into their nightmares, both of their lives will change forever.

A dream of moving statues, shattered chains, and seething clouds of darkness sets the brothers on a journey into the unknown. A prince asks for their help. A necromancer hunts them. The bloom of first love gives Cole something to believe in.

And as the brothers travel the world of Guedin seeking to prevent the hatred of a god from coming to life, Litnig learns that there are prices to pay for all power, and that the power he seeks may cost him more than he can possibly imagine.

Soulwoven is a story of high fantasy, high adventure, and high soul searching in eight points of view, written with people between the ages of 15 and 30 in mind.

I love it, and I hope you will too.

Edit: An updated version of Soulwoven is available commercially. Help me write more and buy a copy! The print book will look great on your shelf, I promise. :-)

The Last Knights of Cambria Book 1: Echoes of Gideon by kullman

Gideon Saint is dying for something exciting to happen in his life. With his love of history, he figures an internship at the museum has to be a good start, right? Anything is better than listening to his parents argue or sitting alone in his room doing research no one but him seems to care about. A chance encounter with a magical ring leaves him transported to an alternate version of ancient Wales, or as it was sometimes called, Cambria. 1432 Wales, to be exact. Here magic is the most powerful weapon of all as kings vie for power. Good thing Gideon's teleportation from the present has also left him with the ability to use magic, and he's quickly regarded as a powerful wizard. In this timeline, Wales maintained it's independence, but that's about to change. Henry V is on the throne of the England, and the greatest warrior king England has ever had has set his sights on Wales. Can Gideon help save his newfound friends and master his new powers, while living a double life in the 21st century? Ahem, living people die, dying people live, Henry V is here and he's awesome despite being the main antagonist, everybody is vaguely gay, swords are described in loving detail, people are not, lovely platonic friendships, did we mention swords? Yes, you may learn something about history, but that's a risk you'll have to take. Basically, think of this as a Percy Jackson type of adventure, but it's historical fiction instead of Greek gods. The narrator is 15 and the major supporting characters are 14, 17, and 19. That said, there's nothing in the way of content that's inappropriate for a younger reader. As always if you're not here to go on a fun little adventure find a different story. Trigger/Content: very mild language, some magic violence, fantasy violence. Self-harm is briefly discussed. Adoption issues are discussed as well as brief scenes of a abusive family. Characters briefly mention crushes and or dating, no real innuendos.

Become a dragon, and save the world. Drenar found a dragon hiding in his soul, and two of his other friends found out they were going through the same Awakening as him. Dragon science gives way to sudden realizations that their situation results from magical experiments from a mage rebel group. Their goal: to recruit the newly awakened dragons, and overthrow the mage world government. With chemistry class the least of their problems now, he and his friends vow to put a stop to that, and embark on a journey that will reveal startling truths about their world--and themselves. With the daunting task of saving the world from those who have hurt him and his friends personally, Drenar recalls the words he's always needed to give him the strength to do what is right. "Be a light to guide the way. Carry a beacon to a better tomorrow." What to expect: * A coming-of-age, epic fantasy to save the world. * The characters are the heart of the story, from dragons, to kitsune, and more. * Rotating POV through the main characters, but occasional POV of the secondary characters * The MC's make mistakes from time to time. They learn and improve as the gravity of the situation builds. * Timing: M-W-F schedule * Rating warning: PG-13. There's some language, violence, and some content that might not be for everyone (trauma, grief, and others do get touched on). Heavy chapters will be noted, so there will be fair warning. * Read ahead on Patreon for up to 15 Advance Chapters!

Lucy Caldwell suffered a disaster in her childhood - her house was burnt, which turned fatal for her parents. She grew up in a children's house together with other orphans. She could never forget the fire incident and was sure her parents were murdered, so she always wished to investigate the case when she grew old enough. Lucy, like all the other children, frequents the Spirit School, where children are taught to control their inner spiritual energy. When they reach 15 years of age, they befriend spirits that reside in the vast Spirit Forest in East Land and receive the Bond Item - an object from them which permits them to summon their friends whenever they're in need. Each person is able to form a bond with a single spirit. However, there are certain spirits that never approach humans, are known as man-eaters and have marked severe borders on their territory, eating anyone who trespasses on them. Such is the clan of the tailed foxes - the Huli. Lucy has already reached 15 years, so she goes together with her classmates to the Spirit Forest to befriend a spirit and bond with them. However, while sitting around a bonfire and listening to her classmates' scary stories, she remembers the dreadful day of how her house caught fire in past and, worked up, she rushes off into the depths of the forest to cry off her anguish. But as elders often say, dense forests are definitely not a place for little children to run around, for the danger lies in every corner, as Lucy soon comes to realise... -- The ebook version of "The Guardian Spirit" is available on amazon.com. for $0.99 on the link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FSRWVMZ -- The Paperback version is available on amazon.com. on the link: https://www.amazon.com/Guardian-Spirit-Guardians-Nine-Heavens/dp/1717875971/ref=tmm_pap_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=&sr=

Together, they will have to deal with mages, fight dragons, and face windigos. Firstly, a huge thanks to my friend Sophia (@sopheyyis or @B1ashe) for drawing the cover. She is an amazing artist, go follow her on instagram and tik toc because she is the best. Warning: this is not for kids or people sensitive to triggers. I tend to write on the dark side, just so you know. There will be no smut, but there will be mentions of sex, abuse, abandonment, a little bit of swearing and this list could be updated as the story goes on. I usually don't write romance, but I want to get better at it, so here we go... About updates, I wish I could say I will be posting at least once a day but I know that won't be true because I'm currently editing my book that I am publishing this summer (2020) and this story is more of just a de-stressor (is that a word) so the grammar and writing, especially the tense (it will most likely flip between present and past tense, just pretend it is all the same) might not be perfect, but I just felt like writing it. I will publish at least once a week Now with that out of the way, I just wanna say, hope ya enjoy the story. Have a great day and keep being your amazing you!
