Avril, or Avie to her friends and family, is a 14 year old girl, who in a few weeks time will become 15, is facing the reality that when she turns 16 next year she will find her mate and settle down and start a family. But Avril dreams of traveling and experiencing new things before she 'throws her life away on some stupid mate who will only hold her back'. Avril would love to find her mate, but not before she lives her life to the best she can. As well as this, she also has to face the harsh reality that her beloved mother has passed away and her father is doing the best he can for her and her 5 year old sister Trinity.
Dylan, a 16 year old, next in line to be alpha of the Red Moon pack, is a possessive and over protective alpha that gets what he wants when he wants it. On his 16 birthday Dylan is exited to find his mate, and goes to school with his natural cocky possessive attitude.
