Zöe Reed was part of a society that was the reason for the destruction of Earth. There was a war between the ever-dictating Government and the rebels causing the world to end up as nuclear waste; inhabitable to all living things and resembling nothing like the pristine place it once was.

Ueran, the only other planet within the Milky Way with the ability to sustain life, has now become the temporary home for the people of Earth. That is, until the Government realizes that the destruction of Earth can be reversed, and become the once beautiful place it once was.

But there is one thing in their way. Zöe Reed. Throughout her time on Ueran, she has discovered many things about the seemingly not-so-perfect Government. Not only that, she has discovered some things about herself.

Is the Government and the society it runs really as it seems? Or is it just a twisted paradise?
