Ayn is a witch with healing powers. Shapeshifters have killed her parents and the only animals she cannot speak with are wolves. When she graduates from the Teaching Clan and finds out that she has to cross the River and live in the Wolves' Mountains for one year, she is less than amused. Kari, first-born shapeshifter Alpha, almost lost his wolf after the death of his mate. He could rise again and become the pack leader if only he would complete his training ...and find another suitable Luna. When he realizes that his second chance is his mother's guest, a daydreaming stubborn witch from across the River, he is less than amused. The bond may be a strong force, but can a witch walk the Wolves' Way and face the dangers it is paved with? **** "I need to stop..." I sigh, catching her wrist before her fingers reach the back of my neck, and I untangle her arm from me. She lingers on the recliner but now there is a big gap between our bodies. The warmth she left on my skin is quickly dissipating in the spring night. "Fine." Ayn stands and searches my eyes. Her scowl has my wolf whimper in submission and makes me curse my self-imposed hard line. "I am going to need your hoodie," she orders, stretching her hand out to me. "What?" I exclaim, briefly shocked by both the tone and the content of her words. My hands however are already executing her command, unzipping my jacket. "The last time I was able to sleep, I was covered with your hoodie. Your scent is comforting." She states it plainly as if it would be an obvious and broadly known fact. Like the Earth being round. Like two being a prime number. #1 in Healer - December 2021 #7 in Lycan - December 2022 ~95 000 words Cover photo by Jr Korpa via Unsplash Cover photo by Marc-Olivier Jodoin via Unsplash hi

The Powers We Have by Seth189
25 parts Complete Mature
WARNING: this story includes death ~~•~~ What superpower would you want? Invisibility? Flight? Shape shifting? There are countless powers! Countless possibilities!!! And my power, is to talk to gnomes. ...no not the little garden things. Gnomes are the creatures that are your conscious. Kinda like the old cartoon devil and angel. Everyone has a gnome, and each gnome has their own personality. Gnomes are invisible to everyone except for people who have the power to talk to them. I have a gnome and their name is Kade. Kade is very mischievous and we get along well. But...my power isn't anything special. I can just see little creatures, what good is that?! And now my parents have decided to sent me to a school to strengthen my 'power'. I've been homeschooled my entire life and have been saved from the embarrassment of sharing my power. I already know my power sucks! I don't need a school to tell me that. But now I'm here. Just me and Kade, Against the world. ~~•~~ This story is about a hero who is very kind and outgoing and always looks out for everyone, A hero who never gives themself credit and is struggling to figure out who they really are, And a hero who once had happiness and love, and threw it all away. And that's Canon (Cover art is not mine, I just added the title) This work belongs to me, @Seth189. I reserve the rights to this work and please do not repost it. It takes me a long time to come up with this stuff and it would be better to write your own work!! If you see this story on any other site besides Wattpad, it is not mine. I only post on Wattpad.

The Wolf Witch by cheeseisjar
9 parts Complete Mature
Sora has no place in the world. She is meant to be a strong warrior, with the ability to shift into a wolf. She is none of those things, and looked down upon because of it. It brings shame to her, it brings shame to her family, and worst of all, it brings shame upon her prideful and strong brother. There is but one person who truly knows and loves her, but does he really? Magic is not the weapon of a warrior, magic is the weapon of a coward. Sora has been told that all her life, but she has magic within her, recently awakened, and so she has begun to doubt it. Still, witchcraft is punishable by death, and so Sora must be careful with her practices, lest she lose all she has. Sora is a better witch than wolf, though not by much, but she still pursues that craft in spite of the dangers. Her place in the world is a dangerous one, but will it last? The world she lives in is a dangerous one, and such a life as hers rarely ends happily. Disclaimer: this is a short prequel, Sora's story does not conclude with this one. If you finish this book and go "oh, that's the end?" it's because it's not the end. I'm writing a trilogy called Mortance that explores the larger world that this takes place in and concludes Sora's story more thoroughly than in this book. Go read that next if you like my writing, thanks. Please leave any and all criticisms you might have, anything you like and anything you dislike, I want to make this as good as I can. P.S. the cover is literally just a drawing I made in physics class, I know it's bad, I'm not an artist.
