"I suspected you were a Shinjitsu," Itachi replied and Miyako started to shake as she tried to push out of his arms, but he pulled her closer to him. "Please, Miyako-chan, just know I did it for a reason. Look after Sasuke, he'll need someone to watch out for him," Itachi begged. "Hisoka!" Miyako gasped out as realization hit her as the stray thought she had heard crossed the teens mind again. "No! Let go of me! Bastard! Let go of me!" she shouted, struggling to get out of his embrace. Itachi let the girl go, she hastily stepped back, eyes filled with tears, anger, confusion, and worst of all, hatred, as she looked at the boy in front of her. Itachi winced at the eyes, his heart clenching at the look she was giving him. "Miyako-chan, please," he whispered but she cut him off. "No! Just leave you murderer! Don't come near me or Sasuke again!" Miyako screamed before turning around and rushing away, leaving Itachi behind as tears dripped down his porcelain-coloured cheeks. (Excerpt end) Shinjitsu Miyako has no one left. She is the last of her clan and she is struggling to survive. That is, until one day she is found and placed into the care of the Haruno Family. After a major mission went horribly wrong, the Leaf shinobi were ordered to retreat and abandon those left behind, even if it meant leaving teammates. Sakura, not willing to leave those dear to her, goes to rescue them. After which she discovers Tsunade is not going to just leave her be, but the apprentice doesn't plan to let her kindness be smothered out. Abandoning her home wasn't her original plan. Just search for a child that has the ability to make the brightest of stars jealous, because it'll never shine as purely as he does. Or will it? ...Poor soul. Has your sensei not thaught you to look beyond the deception? It turns out this boy is incredible at acting. I mean, always smiling with a broken heart isn't an easy task.. Yet, he does it on a daily basis, maybe for work, maybe for self protection. No one, maybe not even himself, has seen the scared boy that hides behind the many masks he created.
