The Tower burned bright, engulfed in brilliant flames. It sent a message to all those who saw it.
A message of the hopelessness that you feel when your beacon of hope, the one thing that makes you feel safe covered in in scarlet flames and black smoke, crumbling to the ground.
The mighty had fallen. The once unbeatable guardians now rendered mortals. The protectors of the last city had now become prey to the forces of the Red Legion. Those who escaped the attack on the city were hunted down and slaughtered, the vanguard scattered.
It seemed like all hope really was lost, but if the Red Legion thought that they had already won they were sorely mistaken. The survivors, Gambit, Apollo, and Astra, continued their misson of being guardians.
They would fight till their last breath, for the home they longed to revenge.
"We will fight until our last breath! We will fight for the city and all those who lived in it! And we will avenge our fallen brothers and sisters! Gaul.. we're coming for you."

Earth has Fallen, it's as simple as it states. Ten years prior, They came. The Tephra, came to Earth intending to take over the life baring Planet. A humanoid species more advanced in weaponry, skills and knowledge than the Human race; looked to make it their home. Countries leaders refused to allow such a thing to happen and war soon ensued. Countless lives wasted to the attack when peace and coexistence could have been an option. Human's, losing, resorted to no other option then chemical warfare. Lieth was born in Scottland and migrated to America as a child when she was ten years old, Ten years before the invasion. She was now 30yrs old. The chemical used in the war completely altered her genetic makeup. She stopped growing upon becoming infected and the effects were permanent. The chemical also caused her hair roots to stain a deep green hue giving her a more inhuman hair color. Her eyes defined her the most. They were a brilliant shade of Ember, like flames in a fire. Kaija was Heir to his Father's Reine. The Tephra were a very tall, fit, Agile and fast, clearly built for hunting. They also stopped aging once they hit adult-hood. Dying only due to sickness, accidents or being slain. Kai's hope was to hopefully unite both races, by force if needed. Kai had long white hair that went past his hips. His skin was a tannish cream tone, a scar over his left eye. He had an agile black tail that was adorned in gold armor. Long pointed elf-like ears. He wore black armor with gold trimming that was protective against attacks of any kind, but was very light making it easy for him to move around. Armored boots adorned with climbing spikes and gloves that exposed his razor-sharp claws. The most distinctive feature of all was the golden skill mask he wore that shown is crystalline blue hues.
