Seven Minutes is being reviewed by an actual publishing reviewer and a published author, how exciting! *I will be editing the first few chapters of this story soon as they are quite cack in comparison to the rest, but until I have the time, I hope you can withstand their quality and enjoy the book as a whole* “I’ll make you a deal.” He whispered as his lips trailed soft kisses down my throat and along my collar bone. “I’ll help you get what you need, if you give me what I want.” My heart seemed to stop at his words, “What do you want?” My voice cracked as his hands gripped tighter to my hips, pulling me closer to him. His lips came up to rest barely a breath away from mine. “How badly do you need it?” He asked. I didn’t even have to think about it, “More than you know.” I replied. I could feel his smirk against my lips as he let out a deep sigh, “Then what I want can come later.” He decided, and then pressed his lips firmly to mine. Riley Scott has always lain low, been the nice girl, the innocent girl, with a troubling home life that she would never admit to, she never wanted to be the centre of attention, but when her best friend drags her to a party her whole world is thrown upside down. Forced into a game of seven minutes in heaven, Riley has to endure four hundred and twenty seconds in the dark with the one person she can’t stand; Beck Harris. Riley is unprepared for the events that happen next; she could never expect that her family would finally fall apart, leaving her to pick up the pieces alone, that is until someone offers her a chance to get it all back. But for a price. Can Riley give up everything she prides herself on for the one thing she has always wanted?

I smiled at him but tears were starting to blur my vision together. "I hate you." His smile faltered and he looked taken back, "Not like that, Drake. I hate you because you make me cry. You're supposed to beat up the guys who make me cry, not be one of them." "But they are happy tears, right?" he clarified. I smiled and nodded my head, before gripping his shirt, pulling his body against mine. "I'll never make you cry because you're sad, understood? I'm never leaving you." I didn't respond this time, I just sat in his lap, holding his torso and he played with my hair. "I don't know if I can let you in yet Drake," I told him truthfully, the one thing I had been dreading telling him. "I know. But I'll never hurt you like the others have. I-"he cut himself off and took a deep breath. "Riley?" he moved me away from his shirt. I looked at him in the eyes and say an emotion. One I hadn't seen in a long time and one I haven't seen in his eyes before. "Can I kiss you?" __________________ Drake was the player of the school. Everyone knew his name. Riley was the nerd of the school. No one knew her name. Complete opposites but for some reason, opposites seemed to attract. Riley knew that Drake had a new girl every week, but she felt like she could change him. And maybe she could. Maybe she'd be different. *Based on a true story*
