There was a shared tranquil silence shared between the two before Obito stole a shaky breath - his thoughts instantly wandering to her, to Rin. Would his life be different if she wasn't mercilessly murdered by his former teammate, and if she still lived would he willingly stand by her side; take the opportunity to forget about this war? But then, he'd never had learned what he knows, never have met Tonica, and could never leave his mark in history.

Obito closed his eyes briefly, his heart aching as he met the woman's broad, and slightly curious, stare.
