Neighborhood legend tells of a Manor that mysteriously burned down one night some time in the 1800s. The ruined Manor still stands in the neighborhood to this day, so it was to be expected that three curious kids went looking around for anything interesting. Thats where Denis' more typical life took a turn once he discovered his not so typical ability to see beyond what the debris left behind, soon realizing it was up to him to resolve the mystery as to what happened to the Manor and the people who once lived there.

(Submitted for a school magazine, there are two versions. The first being for submission purposes. And the other, a longer version with some changes that explores the story to a greater extent which can be found on The Excursion https://my.w.tt/oGGLwxVvaQ)
