The Winter Beneath

In the mountain valleys that make up the Hallaskian Marches life has always been precarious. Micha Bauer remembers well the loss of three siblings to starvation during the late winter/early years earlier. His life however follows the predictable rhythm of the seasons in the small farming village where he has spent his entire life. When confronted with an impossible situation, Micha makes a choice that will irrevocably change his life forever. Micha's younger sister Ida is gifted, able to "see" the past, present and many possible futures she quietly attempts to change the course of of events to suit her ends. But Ida has been noticed by powerful factions who would use her gifts to upend the world.
