Plantagion

Madeleine Masters is a highly qualified scientist living in 2099. She studies plants and tries to make them more durable to changes in the natural environment, whether by man-made disasters or mother nature's will. But one night, some plants who had developed intelligence like no others escaped into the world, leaving cities silent in their wake. It is up to her skill with plants and weapons, and camaraderie of unlikely friend after another, to save the world from the Plantagion.
