From the outside looking in, life seems like it could not be better for Charity. You would think that the past twenty three years of her life were something out of a story book-she has the kind and gentle boyfriend, got a full ride to Yale University to study the forensics sciences, has some pretty awesome friends, and even has a job at the nursing home where her grandparents used to stay. Yeah-life is great. Except for the fact that Charity knows something. A big something. The kind of big something that could get people killed. Yeah, life was pretty normal for Charity up until she is forced to make a decision that will put all of the people she loves in danger, causing her life to spin out of control. Life does not really begin for Charity until she runs right into the very fate that she has worked her whole life trying to avoid. She is now a part of their game. If she wins the prize will be life.
