edit (7/6/23): bro what is this story? plot execution sucks fr 😭 A hard-working widow, Charlotte Wormwood, lost her daughter in a tragic accident. 20 years later, she stumbles across a homeless girl who appeared to have the same birthmarks as her deceased daughter! She appeared to have knowledge of her daughter's past life! Charlotte tries to solve the mystery of her daughter's death and the peculiar girl. She gets trapped in a morbid time machine which travels her to 1945, the year on her daughter's death, to try to save her from the events. Could this all be a coincidence or just some weird hoax? ----------------------------------------------------------------- Everyone has there own secrets. Some are dark and morbid, even when everyone in your town talks about it. You swore to secrecy that they wouldn't tattle, but you sometimes can't trust them, even if something goes terribly wrong that the truth has to be uncovered.... Warning: contains violence in some scenes. I have no interest or intention in actually killing someone or something. This is just a book I like to write and criminal minds in the '40s-'60s got me thinking of writing my very first book (which is this one). Also, some sensitive topics include religion, so viewer discretion is advised. Enjoy reading this book. Thank you so much on reading this! I appreciate it! A/N: this is my first story ever. 🌚🌝 y'all this is my first story ever. pretty crap, if I do say so myself. so I apologize if the story and it's events is pretty confusing. It's super cringe and weird, because I made this a bit ago when I wasn't even a teen yet. ➪ started: 4/12/21 ➪ published: 4/14/21 ➪ finished: 10/11/21

Imana, a young mother, made a bold decision when Brayson and Blyana were only a year old. She knew that staying with their family would cause irreparable damage to her beloved twins. She ran away with them. Fourteen years had passed since Tobias' twins disappeared without a trace. The heartbroken father had searched far and wide, but all his efforts were in vain. Until one day, he received a call from the Dublin police informing him that two fifteen-year-olds had been caught smoking weed and drinking alcohol. To his amazement, Tobias learned that the delinquents in question were none other than his long-lost children. Tobias was overjoyed to be reunited with his beloved twins after so many years. But, at what cost? What had his children been through during their time away, and what kind of impact would it have on them, and their relationship with him? Brayson seemed to get along with his father and brothers perfectly but Blyana didn't like them and she understood why her mother took them away. Blyana's life takes a sudden and unexpected turn when she is hit by a vicious surprise that shakes her to her core. Her world is turned upside down, and it seems like every force in the universe is conspiring against her. But the truth is far more sinister. As she struggles to pick up the pieces and make sense of the betrayal, Blyana finds herself battling new enemies who are making her life a living hell. It is in this chaotic and confusing time that a British boy suddenly appears on the scene, showing a keen interest in her. |PART 1 · 10TH GRADE DRAFT · 3X FEATURED| |NEW DRAFT WAS CONSIDERED FOR THE WATTPAD ORIGINALS PROGRAM IN 2024! I DECLINED BECAUSE OF THE VENTRICLES.| Fifteen-year-old Kylie Juniper is not excited about attending a week-long canoe trip with her family in the depths of the Lady Evelyn-Smoothwater Provincial Park. After she learns the legend of the Ghost of Ontario, she meets a First Nations boy who is just as mysterious as the ten-year-old ghost. *** Ten years ago, a little boy went missing in the Lady Evelyn-Smoothwater Provincial Park. Legend has it that he died and became the Ghost of Ontario. When fifteen-year-old Kylie learns of it, she vows to uncover the mystery, but things become extra interesting when she and her family meet an amnesic hermit, Ihaan, in the park. Ihaan has no memories of his past. All he remembers is his life with Canada's wild animals. However, it changes when he meets Kylie. Suddenly, he is desperate to find his lost memories, so he joins Kylie and her family on their canoe trip, much to Kylie's mother's displeasure. As the trip progresses, Kylie and her family learn new secrets about Ihaan and try to help him get home. Ihaan, though, is eager to stay in the provincial park after living alone there for a long time. When mysterious happenings begin, such as "Lucilla" and voices in the forest, Kylie starts to wonder... Is Ihaan the Ghost of Ontario himself? *** Note: Ihaan is pronounced "Ian". (IMPORTANT! Just FYI, this is very poorly written. I wrote it in 10th grade but needed somewhere to store it.)

[Vᴏʟᴜᴍᴇ 1 - Cᴏᴍᴘʟᴇᴛᴇ] Evelyn White was born with a gift - or rather, a curse: the first time she touches someone, she sees when and how that person dies. Meeting new people is sickening. Walking through a crowd is hell. Not to mention that when she opens her big mouth to tell people what's going to happen to them, most treat her like she's crazy - even after she saves their lives. But meddling with the future has consequences, and Death is not all there is to fear. As Evelyn races to find a way to save the new transfer student from being murdered, a voice starts whispering in her ear. Someone or something lurks in the shadows. Watching. Waiting. Trying to get close using mind games and tricks. It knows about her powers. It knows she can change Fate - and it's not alone. ------------------------------------------- This book is written in Australian English and uses British style grammar. Eleven short stories, posted one story at a time: Two little girls, in two different eras, yearning for their parents. A shy girl in a new country. An uncertain woman dancing back into life after the death of a spouse. A thrilling short short. Mother and son argue over what is dignity, what value her life. A creepy little short that won an honourable mention in the Hart House Short Story Contest. The bureaucrat and his ever-so-busy day. A party that glitters and excludes ones who don't fit. A daughter rebels. A mother and her youngest, a conflict without end, that only death can solve? Murder stalks the homeless in Toronto's innocent streets. I hope you enjoy these stories! The ePub and Kindle versions include a bonus romance, written in 1919 by my grandmother, about two people who have to face danger to find each other. There's a story in that: My mother’s sister and mother liked to write poetry. My mother’s mother was a stellar speller and a killer Scrabble player. But I had no idea until recently that as an adolescent she had written and submitted stories for publication. I don’t think her queries were successful. And it wasn’t long before she got married and started riding the Wall of Death as a living with her husband. And so in honour of that century-ago effort of hers, I reproduced in the ePub, as she typed it errors and all (or what I suppose to be errors as grammar is different between countries and eras), the story my mother – her daughter – found recently in an old envelope postmarked from London 6:15 pm 23 SP 19 (23 September 1919) to Miss D.
