In the far reaches of an old country road, a little red house stands alone amongst fields of grass and wild flowers. This little house with its flaking red paint and old wooden porch make a picturesque backdrop for the two sisters, Hannah and Hailey Smith . The Smith sisters lived by themselves in the little red house, and surrounding fields, just as they always have. But one day, things change when a baby blue Jeep Cherokee pulls up their long, dusty drive.

Who is the driver of the car? That name would belong to Jenna Martin, a city girl in most respects and married three times. She is the girls' cousin and complete opposite. She brings a surprise with her, one which would lead to turning the Smith girls' world upside down.
