One night a star fell from the sky and faded, finally going out. A girl stood outside admiring the night sky, fascinated by the stars and constellations. When she saw the star fall she rushed to help, only to find a boy where the star hit. He was battered and broken, sleeping as though it hadn't happened, in a crater made by the impact. He was physically stunning, perfect in every way, appearing to have been carved out of marble. She decided that she couldn't leave him like this, so she took him home and bandaged his wounds as best she could. She didn't leave his side the whole night, waiting for him to awake. Forevermore their lives were changed, for better or worse, they were stuck with each other.
