Wally wakes up in a strange place, with more bruises and gashes than he can count. A strange man with a mustache who claims to be the god of speed, pushes Wally's strength and agility to the max. In one of the tests Wally is shot by a stranger who seems vaguely familiar, and then thrown in a lab with the name "Experiment R." He goes through many tests, some that are mental, and others that are physical. Will Wally be able to escape this strange place and return to the one he loves?
Meanwhile, Artemis goes on a mission that she might not come out of. Her ability to see through deception is proved weak, and she must make a life or death decision for her squad. She must choose between friends and the one she loves the most of all. Will she choose the lives of her closest friends, or the life of someone she loves? Can she see through deception in the end to save everyone?
Will love find a way? Will Wally return home to his brokenhearted girlfriend? Can Artemis surpass her grief to survive? Stop reading this and read the story already!
