"Sorry about the mess," Drew spits as he slams the door to our apartment. I glance around to see if anything's untidy. Just a few boxes, nothing too big.
"It's not a problem," Andrew Senior, notorious for being an asshole and my boyfriend's fuckface dad, brushes off slightly. "Not even that messy."
With a pointed look towards his dad, Drew growls, "I was talking to Dylan, you piece of shit."

Normally when I do that it's because someone's using the word 'gay' to hate on them, it just pisses me off, you know?" He asks, bringing the crackers back into his lap and biting into them. "Plus-" He adds on, "You're my best friend, if anything, you being gay is a blessing. I'll always support you." He says, glancing at me through the side of his eyes. I look away, towards the door to hide the crimson blush that I feel spread over my face. "Thanks." I all but squeak out. But once he meets Emma Garcia, straight A's popular but innocent girl from his school, the question is, will his plan change? This is a spin-off story from "Now You Are Mine" involving the backstory of a "Drew" character. Even though this story is connected to NYAM, you don't have to read both of them. Parts of those two stories do intervene and they share the same timeline. I suggest you read them both, but again it's not crucial for understanding each one of them. Also, the story is not suitable for those younger than 18 since it includes mature scenes of sex, violence, abuse etc., which are not by any means condoned by the author. Adrianna parties and gets drunk and smokes all the time. One day she just can't stand staying with her dad for any longer and goes to her neighbor Daniel's house till her friend picks her up. She went back completely wasted and needed a place to stay for the night since her dad was on her ass about getting drunk so she stays with him. I hope you like the book, there is going to a mild amount of swearing and lots of drinking and smoking. Everything is made up beside the state they live in.
