The Wasteland is an unforgiving place. Deathclaws, mirelurks, and all sorts of abominations roam the twisted, mutated surface and humans must survive in the middle of it all. Their future rests on the shoulders of two women. One, a recently widowed mother, desperate to find her child, who somehow gets pulled into the thick of the battlefield. The other is a woman who grew up in the wastes and sets her sights on raiders, and the control she could impose on the wasteland.
Who will survive the great battles over the wastes to come? And who will go up in flames?

A series of journal entries written by a woman out of time and her adventures in a strange new world This fanfic is written as a"first person POV journal" by the sole survivor from Fallout 4. Written as "journal entries" means, we have the main chappters, such as "Collage is hard", and that main chaper is broken down into sub chapters or "Journal titles". There will be 2-5 entries per chapter. Each chapter could be as short as 500 words or as long as 3000 words, sometimes less, sometimes more. It really just depends on how much "Callie" has to say. Content warnings! This fanfic will include the following. Non-cannon elements( I am using the mod pack magnum opus), drug use, blood and gore, domestic abuse(light), Sol has claustrophobia, drinking, M/f and F/F sex, lots and lots of swearing( i swear like a sailor) loss of pregnancy, attempted suicide, depression and self-harm. Of these most, you will not see till later in the fic, some you will see right away. This is a slow burn as it's being written while I play through the game for the 100th time. Female Sole Survivor (Y/N) A.K.A 'Charmer' meeting and befriending the ex-mercenary Robert MacCready in Fallout 4. This is my realistic interpretation of how it would feel, to be the sole survivor trying to find a second chance at living, in the wasteland, based on the events in the game. My imagining of what was said in between missions and how the trust between them formed. Slow(ish)-burn, friends-to-lovers romance, with occasional angst and grief, commonly found in the Wasteland. Both Charmer and MacCready deal with having lost their first loves, due to circumstances beyond their control, yet somehow still manage to fall in love again. Both face hardships along their journey towards saving their children. Will their newly budded romance be able to withstand the pressure? Or will it prove to be too much for these hardened individuals to take? This story follows and retells quests mostly for timeline and plot purposes. Based heavily on my playthroughs, where I did all of MacCready's companion quests early in game. Caution Mature Content: violence, gore, death, language, drug-use, mental health issues and descriptive sexual content.
