Alexis Leora is a 17 year old high school student living with her aunt and uncle in a snug apartment in Manhattan, NY. Alexis' life wasn't normal before, what with her dark past with her father, but after a wisp finds her in the middle of a dark alleyway -- claiming that Alexis is an angel and MUST join 9 other beings to save the Supernatural Realm from a rebel group called, Duimux -- ... well that's when her life gets complicated. 

Mostly because Alexis doesn't remember the first 9 years of her life, so who is to contradict the wisp's claim on where she came from?

So in spite of everything, she agrees to join the wisp; While also making it her goal to uncover the dangerous mysteries of her heritage and return to Earth to live out her ideal life.
