Victoria is a human, living as any normal person. She lives in a condo with her roommate Abigail.  Victoria spends her free time coup up in her room reading a book for hours or getting dragged to parties by Abby. Abby convinced Vicky to go to a club that has been recently open. Leaving the club alone, she comes across someone or rather something she could only think existed in movies or books. Since that very day, her life wasn't ordinary anymore.  Vicky does not want to have anything to do with Roman. 

Roman is one of the oldest vampires that exist. He has closed off his heart from ever becoming broken since the last relationship he had a couple hundred years ago didn't go too well. Since then he became ruthless and uncaring of other innocent lives (besides his siblings). But when a human girl ran into him well things started to become complicated. 

Both don't want anything to do with each other, but they can't ignore the chemistry that is brewing between them. Roman has a dark past that isn't ready to share. But when his family and now Vicky is threatened, he now needs to deal with it.
