Eden's First Daughter
(Lilith Series Book One)There are two sides to every story, but that doesn't mean both are always heard. That's the funny thing about history, we don't often hear it from the voices that matter most. The same goes for Lilith. Though the story of the Garden of Eden may seem clear as day, the truth of the matter has been long lost to time and the horrors that happened within it are now only known to its original residents and those who sought to perfect them. After refusing to be subservient to man, Eden's first daughter fled, only to be looked down upon by the eyes of history for the 'monster' she had become. Thousands of years pass, and in the spring of 2024, the Archangelic Council is having trouble making a crucial decision that will greatly impact the world as we know it. They were told by Adonai before he left the world in their hands long ago, that in a dire time like this, another council could be called in to help. After putting it to a vote, the New Order was to be assembled and their leader was none other than the wife of both Archangels Samael and Lucifer, the mother of all demons herself, Lilith. As she travels the world to gather the unique members of the Order, she speaks with witches, wolves, vampires, and more, and they quickly come to realize they've all been plagued by a common enemy; an organization known as the Holy Alliance whose goal is to cleanse the world of demonic creatures. Can Lilith and her friends show humanity that they too have every right to live in this world before it's too late?Complete
The Devil's Daughter
Betrayal follows her, the Angels are against her, and the Devil is on her tail. As Lucifer's Daughter Abbegael must hide her identity from both Heaven and Hell if she is to survive. All she wants is to return home but when Lucifer's plan starts to take shape she realises she is the key to destroying Heaven and she may be the only one who can save it. Razakiel has been the Devil's right hand man ever since the Fall. He despises Lucifer and everything he's done, but when he discovers Abbegael's secret he finally has a chance to get home. Because sacrificing the Devil's daughter could be the one thing to save him and Heaven alike. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Trapped within the fiery depths of Hell, her only chance of escape is him; a stranger, the enemy. "I'm not going to hurt you," he growls in my ear, "Neither am I going to hand you over to that Bastard." I flinch at the anger in his voice and confusion rushes through me. "What?" I squeak, attempting to get air into my constricted lungs. He sighs, the warm air brushing against my neck, sending goose bumps skittering across my skin. "I'm not going to tell him you intend to escape. How can I when I plan to do the same thing?" My mind whirls as I attempt to understand what he is saying. He wants to escape? But he is one of Lucifer's most trusted. How does that even happen? He's lying. "I'm not lying. I needed him to trust me or I would never find a way to get out." "You know a way out? Wait. Did you just read my thoughts? How did you just read my thoughts? I thought you were a shield!" Once again his sigh of exasperation leaves goose bumps on my skin and a shiver running down my spine. "I am a shield. It just so happens that I'm a reader too. Yes, that is possible. Obviously. Now can I let you go, or are you going to try and kill me again?" © 2013 by Froggie27.
