Letters collected from the shattered remains of those grieving the lost of their loved ones. These are real letters by real people who have kindly agreed to have them shared with the public alongside letters written by myself. I am creating this book in honor of a dear friend who lost his life 8/31/18. If you are reading this and would like your own letter added to those already collected, please contact me to discuss it. This is a book meant to help others in their own lives. Do not comment rude things or judge others. We all have to deal with death.All Rights Reserved

Losing someone who once lit up your life is like losing a piece of yourself. In the aftermath, I searched for that lost spark, tried to rise from the depths of despair, but was haunted by shadows of doubt and negativity. How do you go on when the person you cherished most vanishes without a trace? Alice disappeared suddenly, leaving me in the dark, wondering endlessly what I could have done to drive her away. In my endless grief, with no one to confide in, I turned to writing letters-letters to husbands who never responded. Yet, through some twist of fate, these letters became a book, a chronicle of my sorrow and longing. This book is a tribute to Alice, released on her 20th birthday. It is my hope that she, wherever she may be, will accept this as a gift-a testament to the bond we once shared, and the impact she had on my life.

This is going to be weird. At first at least. I haven't talked to you in over a year, but the teacher said we should use this diary to express our emotions and the only one I could ever be one hundred percent honest with is you. Those letters to you are worth 25% of my final grade so I must find some interesting things to talk to you about. It's going to be good for me too. It'll help me move on. Help me live my life again. I just hope that it will get easier because for now, just imagining talking to you every week brings it all back, all those feelings. I still hope that, one day, you will read those letters for real. That they won't just be a way to keep you in my mind. I'm not stupid, I know that you will never read them but imagining that you will helps me write what I really want to say.
