For Sage, being alive in the zombie apocalypse isn't that hard. With her prosthetic arm, some judge her as weak. But there's no way in hell that she'd let herself die. She made a promise to her friends, and she'll stay alive for them. 

Dakota is considered one of the people in charge at their refuge- an old college campus powered by solar panels. With the help of his boyfriend, he's trying to find a way to contact the outside world. 

When the apocalypse struck, Kinder's girlfriend was in a different town. Now stuck with her old boss who ran the coffee shop she had worked at, she's slowly making her way towards her soulmate.
