Sirens were abound in the deadly waters, and those who heard their call rarely made it out alive with the skin on their backs. When a pirate ship crashed into a jagged rock bay, Murdoc Niccals thought he had met his fate after he was blamed for the wreckage and cast overboard, his body chained to an old anchor. But when a mysterious siren spared his life with a kiss that granted him gills, he knew it was only the beginning of a new life. He could have never predicted to have fallen in love with one of the nasty creatures, but it seems their bond was growing and somehow, the siren himself seemed more.... Human each day.
