Never in my life has my mom ever said something so horrible, so disgusting. Never in my sixteen years of living, have I heard something so awful and cruel. 20,000 years ago the vampire race was born in to the world, causing wars between the human races and the vampire races this war started with the first king of the vampires who claimed that the human race was a disgrace and should be eliminated to make way for new race, a stronger more powerful race of vampires, humans were weak but found the courage to stand up and fight, with so many lost they are still fighting for dominance and freedom some just cant take it so they flee and take the easy way out, and some are just to curious for their own good and turn into the monsters they were trying to rid, for 20,000 years the war has been going on and new generations of human and vampires surfaced but 500 years ago there was a prophecy that was said that a human girl and a vampire boy will end the long years of battle and unite the two races into one but the vampires doesn't want it to happen so they fought even harder to prevent this prophecy and so the world was now a battlefield for lost souls and for those human who survived are now hidden in safety and forming an army to strike back they now call themselves vampire hunters, and among them is the 18 year old girl who will fulfill the prophecy and change the world.

As a pretty sane person I knew that ugly incomprehensible things happened but somethings came at you so unexpectingly that you did not even know how to react. Fairytales often painted step parents as these evil beings that did such unimaginable acts which ended up affecting our everyday lives but it wasn't like that with my mother's boyfriend. At least that's what I thought until I found myself somewhere else with a father I knew nothing about, a band that wasn't really a band in my eyes and a past so heavy that going to sleep meant drowning in the horrors of a summer that was meant to be the best time of my life.

So...people say that there's life after death, that there's a Heaven and Hell. Well...those people are right...well sort of...In my case...I'm dead, but...I'm still here. A ghost, actually a Yurei, a Japanese version of a ghost. Besides that...I found this place called Burgeon Isle, thanks to this book I had with me.Oh did I mention I somehow found myself in a school that teaches people that live there? Did I also mention magic exists there? Well...I guess I just did...Anyways, I've heard from a friend that there's this Dark Lord blah blah blah almost broke the world. Then again...he's dead and gone, I guess. Right now, I'm teamed up with 'study group' of five cause the school system has this thing called teams and we have to work together and we do missions to get extra credit and the school gets funded. The witch had told them that I am a wolf but with vampire blood in my system so if I die I'll become a hybrid.
