Kol Strijd has always been interested in the occult.

Growing up in the sleepy, foggy town of South Hill where things are not always what they seem, Kol knows we are not alone. We are far from alone in this world.

'It' is proof of that. Everyday after school, she would meet 'it' on the bench near the graveyard and it would be her escape. That is, until, the Strijd family had to move.

Now Kol is back in town for answers. Who is 'it'? Is 'it' the faceless figure that haunts her nightmares? Why is 'it' hunting her down? And most importantly, what does 'it' want from her?
