Arden Woods hasn't been back to Castle Rock since she was eight, and now she's seventeen. She left Castle Rock because of the bullying, and torture she was put through by kids at school. So, she switched schools and moved to Riverside with her mother; who was newly divorced from her father. But, ever since she found out he had cancer at only 40 years old, she wants to be there for him and make sure he can recover from it. When she arrives back in Castle Rock, word is spread about their being a new student and how mysteriously beautiful she was. When Jonathan Brandis hears this he has to see her for himself, and what he doesn't know is that it the girl he use to torment repeatedly. But, Arden recognizes him immediately and distances herself from him; leaving Jonathan confused. But, will being paired up in biology bring the closer, or will their past prevent them from moving forward?
