A bastard, an alcoholic and a murderer - all have committed an equivalent crime.

***

Layne Marks has always been a failure in the eyes of his family. The black sheep in the shadow of his more successful brother. At twenty-six, he still can't keep a stable job nor accommodation. Just another average person anywhere else in the world - but not in Eumain.

In Eumain, there is no place left for imperfection. Here, a homeless person and a bank robber will both receive the same punishment - they will be declared as Rejects and taken away, never to be seen again. The citizens can only guess what will happen to them.

One widespread rumour has it, that the Rejects are exiled into a remote, long-abandoned land, not fit for anything else - just like themselves. There, all the criminals of different degrees, have to depend on each other in order to survive in this harsh and dangerous place, infested with never before seen beasts.

Layne Marks has always been reminded that it was only a matter of time before he would cross the line of what was seen as not perfect enough to live in Eumain.

I am going to be making an entirely new book based on this same plot and similar characters... But I will not be a literal child when writing it. Hopefully it's much better lol. _________________________________ Book 1 of the Marks series! _________________________________ What if you fainted, and the place you left, the place you remember, is long gone? Instead you're stuck fighting for your life with the help of your classmates, who all remember everything. But you don't. Ava's twin is hiding something from her, and her best friend isn't the same person she remembers. Her school has been turned into some sort of military base and everyone is in uniform. She hasn't seen any adults, and half of her friends aren't around. What's going on? _____________________________ "I just want to know why. That's it. Why did all these people have to die? Why is it that people had to lose almost everyone they loved in one day? Why? It just doesn't- It isn't-" Dawson sank to his knees and put his head in his hands, his shoulders shaking violently. A sob left his lips, the agonizing sound pulling at my heartstrings. "Why is it that people change? That I'll never get to see..." His voice dragged away into the silent air. Everyone was long gone, having left after the ceremony. Dawson stayed where he was, silent tears running over his fingers and to the ground as his body shook with the force of his cries. ________ This book is based off of my friend Ava's dream.

The only exception she has for men is if she needs to have relationships with them for her missions. Her hatred towards men began due to her trauma that was caused by her father who abused her mother, her, and her younger sister. Victoria always hated how her father would treat the girls in the house, she never truly understood why he did the things he did but she was always to scared to question it, scared that if she would say anything her father would have an outburst of rage from the sudden question. So she never said anything she kept her mouth closed until something would change her life in a positive or negative way. But one day after one of her missions her boss called her telling they have to have a little talk over some dinner. Reluctantly she had to accept it due to it being her boss. Her boss told her she's going to have a partner due to her next mission being a difficult one and you physically can't do it only with one person. Her partner being Tom Kaulitz. She was mad at her boss because she knew that he knew about her problems with men and her background with them, but her boss simply didn't care on what she has to say since he's the one making the change. - "𝐈𝐓'𝐒 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐄𝐘𝐄𝐒. Liam Draven Liam Draven was born on the day the world ended. The zombie apocalypse began with his first cries. Raised by his father, Henry Draven-a skilled hunter and leader-Liam's childhood, was spent learning how to fight and survive. His father taught him to lead, to protect, and to never let his guard down. When Henry fell sick, Liam had no choice but to step up as the leader of their group. He wasn't afraid; he had been preparing for this his whole life. The rules were simple: protect the people, destroy the infected, and trust no one outside the group. Liam followed these rules without fail-until the day he didn't. One decision broke everything he believed in and forced him to question what truly mattered. Evelyn Vale Evelyn Vale was not an ordinary zombie. She looked like one, acted like one, but deep inside, part of her was still human. She didn't know why she was different, but she kept it a secret, knowing humans would destroy her if they found out. To survive, Evelyn had to pretend-hide in plain sight among the infected and avoid the living. But when hunters threaten her life, Evelyn is forced to expose her secret to the one person she should fear the most: Liam Draven. She didn't expect him to spare her, let alone change her world. Liam made her feel alive again, but being with him was nearly impossible. For Liam, she was the one exception to the rules. For Evelyn, he was the one person who made her want to fight for something more. Together, they must face a world that sees them as enemies, even as they become each other's salvation-or downfall.
