Danielle Martin isn't a typical girl in high school. She doesn't wear tight clothes or pounds of makeup, she isn't popular and isn't really a big fan of all the attention. Books and Netflix are her Friday nights, staying home and eating sweets and junk. She's small and vulnerable, shy because she doesn't have the life everyone thinks she does.
But that all changes...
Now, Blake Daniels is a stereotypical high school guy. Captain of the football team, unbearably attractive, and one of the most popular guys to walk the school. To anyone else, his life is amazing. But to him, it sucks. Family issues and lost battles leave him weak and vulnerable to the ones who want to break him more.
But that also all changes...
Will their newfound love save them from the struggles they face? Can they survive with all the drama and rumors being thrown at them? It all comes down to one thing in the end.

An Unexpected Moment
... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. Who could ever think that because of a football game you could find true love? Well Jason Parker wouldn't. He is the schools hottie, captain of the soccer team, and a big player. Veronica Stone is the captain of the school's girls soccer team and everyone knows that's she's one of the best female player in the country. Unlike Blake, Veronica is known as the girl that's always seen with a smile on her face. She has guys after her, but she doesn't even know about it. Well, other than Blake Wilder. At first, the two can't stand each other, but what happens when they realize that they're basically forced to tolerate each other? What happens when the two learn that they have a lot more in common than they even thought possible? Blake and Veronica think they're polar opposites, little do they know, they're more a like than they even realized. I know I suck at descriptions but please consider giving this book a chance. Riley's past isn't something most kids go through. Bad things happened, but when she got older, her dad decided it was best to move, and get away from something that seemed to haunt Riley. They moved from Arizona to California. About 1/4 into her junior year, Riley had to go to a new school, and make new friends. She didn't really care about having friends though, as long as she was able to play soccer, she would be okay. Soccer had always been there for her, when her mom died, when she didn't have anyone else, when she was in a bad mood. It was always there for her to play. She didn't need anyone else. That changed when she met Brooke Eckmann. Brooke is also a junior in high school, and is the varsity teams goalie. When they first meet on the field, it was something different. She couldn't stop thinking about her. It was something both of them had never felt before. This is probably why he's so intrigued by the new girl who defies the stereotypes and isn't what everybody says she is. Aspen Peterson the new girl at Ocean City High new to Florida period. She is not only known as the new girl. Aspen is the captain of the cheerleaders after showing everyone out at tryouts. Blue eyes, dirty blonde hair, nice body, sounds like the stereotypical cheerleader. But that's not what Aspen is. She isn't interested in dating an empty-headed person who knows nothing, doesn't really care about prom, or the empty-headed people who think she sleeps around. Aspen is a free spirit girl, who isn't afraid "to be one of the boys", isn't afraid to be herself, but is afraid to be loved or let anybody in after a difficult past.
