Everyone suffers no matter how much we think we're alone, there maybe someone out there more disconnected from the rest of the world. If you had the power to help the other and didn't take it does that make you a bad person? If you had one chance to correct the world would you take it? If you were given one power what would it be? No matter what choice you make it will come haunting back to you. The good the bad there's a fine line between what people perceive as good and bad it's up to you to decide that.

Her luxurious lifestyle and philanthropic endeavors seemed to confirm her status as the ultimate achiever. Until she had an accident which changed everything about her life, and she soon saw it in another perspective... The shocking truth began to unravel, revealing the dark underbelly of her seemingly perfect world. She discovered she was naive, gullible, and blinded by everything she thought she had. Her relationships were tainted with deception, her success felt hollow, and her happiness was a facade. The accident had shattered the mirror, revealing a reflection she no longer recognized...

Time Can't Heal This by Lauryn_Love

I've always hated the saying "Time heals all wounds." Maybe in most cases that may be true. In my experience with life and pain however, time has only ever bled out the wound. The scars that the wounds left behind though, are often so deep that just looking at them becomes painful to the mind. Time only heals what you let go of. Sometimes letting go and moving on just doesn't feel possible; no matter how much time you let pass you by. These poems signify what time hasn't healed for me.
