Frank gets community service after committing a minor offence with some friends. His punishment would be to take care of some kid for 6 months. The "kid" was suicidal and mental, not enough for him to go to a mental institution, but enough for someone to have to watch him. His name was Gerard Way, and Frank would slowly get used to this kid.
Maybe even fall in love.
