Fear. That's all. People all over the world were living their life in constant fear. Ever since Lord Voldemort succeeded in killing Harry Potter in 1998 the world was a complete mess. People were killed randomly, wizards and muggles alike. The world had nothing of its former beauty. The flowers were not blooming, the trees were all dead. Whole cities were nothing more than ruins and smoke. The sky was always the same colour, no one could tell whether it was day or night by looking at the solid black mass above their heads. In the midst of that, there was a small group who fought against Voldemort. They still tried to find a way to kill The Dark Lord and return life to this planet. A small group of people, who managed to survive the battle of Hogwarts were hiding in their hidden headquarters making plans. All they had were the few selected members of what formerly was the Order of the Phoenix and a flicker of hope, no matter how small it was. Even after 3 years, they had that little spark that kept them going.

Some things stick with you forever. For me, it's May 2, 1998. The Battle of Hogwarts. The day I lost some good friends. The day my second home became a war zone. The day a man I once trusted showed his true colors. The biggest thing then was surviving. The biggest thing now is still surviving, but also trying to move on from the past. Sometimes, though, the past is an impossible thing to forget. [cover by @psychedeliah]
