Daisy Day, the redheaded girl everyone always ignored now seemed to be the center of attention by everyone around her but why? For someone who had always been picked last in every activity, someone the teachers always ignored, the redheaded girl in her brother's shadow, now was getting the attention from the last people on earth she thought would ever speak to her. Daisy's defense to most kids in school was to be invisible but with Mica Malone's offer to help her, will she let down those defenses or face a summer back in the very classroom she hates.
When the teacher's pet, A.K.A. school jock offers to help Daisy in algebra, things get tense. Just when she thinks her summer is gearing towards the worst possible path, Mica swoops in with his motorcycle and superb math skills saving the day. Daisy is sure he is keeping a secret from her and the rest of the school but will she uncover something sinister or enchanting? Or will it end in regretful revenge that seems to come easily for a Cracked Daisy?
