"Deku," He murmured, thumbing over the pale skin covered in a sprinkle of light faded freckles, his breath becoming visible and ghosting against the other's cheek from the freezing cold.
Red irises caught toxic green ones, his heart clenching- making it harder to breathe. God, he can't breathe-
"What are we, Deku?" The close proximity had his chapped lips brush against the plush, light pink ones in a form of a chaste kiss. The question made the other teen's head hang low, green curls shadowing over his eyes as he let out a shaky breath, his arms trembling slightly as he hugged himself in a sense of lonely comfort.
"I don't.. I don't know, Kacchan," he whispered back, careful around his words- but they were loud enough to shatter the glass barrier containing the truth. "I don't know."
