Maddison Clark recently transferred to a college closer to her mom. She's new to the San Francisco area. When the social elite, Sebastian E. Lockhart, resurfaces after seven years and ends up at her job, she's mostly lost on who he is or who the Lockhart family is. Out of nowhere, he disappeared off the face of the earth without much reason. Despite their differences, Maddison is having a hard time shaking him off. She has too much pride to admit to her feelings though. But time after time again, Sebastian appears back in her life, making it harder to fight off her attraction. And one thing that's more intriguing than his looks is the fact he's got more secrets up his sleeve than most guys. In a city where secrets seldom stay secrets for long, Maddison might just uncover the truth on something bigger than the both of them, hidden from everyone's eyes.
