When the King of Lucis first asked Ignis to take care of Prince Noctis while he attended school, he was a bit reluctant. Yes, they had known each other since they were both young children but even Ignis was never allowed to get too close to the son of King Regis. For years he had only been a mere advisor and assistant to the prince whenever he needed it. He worried he would have nothing in common with a prince of such high caliber, making it even harder for them to get along.
However his worry was all for naught. Throughout Noctis' school years, their relationship developed more and more. They relied on each other for help, advise, and a shoulder to lay on every now and then. Their relationship went beyond just friends before they had even realized it. However, both couldn't help but wonder if this was trouble waiting to happen...
