In a world constantly in battle betwixt demons who will stop at nothing to quench their thirst for human blood and monstrous humans who lurk in every dark corner, our young hero quickly learns that you can trust no one but yourself. Having spent most of her life in a small enclosed village, young Tara must break away from everything she knows and travel far and wide to escape the great evil.
