"Stevie Arlene Beaumont" the judge snaps looking up at me as I stand shakily and look down at my too big dress shoes. "Do you understand how dangerous what you did was?" The woman flares down at me. "Yes ma'am" I reply quickly. She looks at me for a long time and I can see myself through her eyes scraggly black hair falling in my overly large green eyes a suit too big for my body and a file folder describing what I'd done two months ago in a drunken fit of rage. "Mrs. Lewis do you have anything to say in this matter" my heart sank as my mother stepped forward clutching my youngest sister Lacey to her hip. Seeing me Lacey began to whimper and reach out to me but was quickly shushed by my mother. "Your honor Stevie has always had an issue with authority. I've reached the end of my rope in trying to teach her but the girl just doesn't know right from wrong." I glare over at her anger bubbling up in my chest. "She's begun to act inappropriately towards men I date your honor" the anger erupts suddenly and I know I cannot stay silent. "Liar!" I scream

"She deserved it." Alexa cackled as she stood against the wall. Lipstick smeared. "Why?" Kimmy interjected while pulling away from me and wiping her tears that had evidently stained her cheeks. "I wanted to have him, I wanted something for once to belong to me and to stay with me." Her cackling turned into tears. Her emerald dress was torn by the hem. "I like Corinth , you would never take her place." Caleb wiped away the stains under Corinth's eyes. Some people say its hard to open up, others say you make it difficult all on your own. It stems from lack of trust or trust you simply can't afford to spare after being broken. This can be said for Corinth a teenager with a dangerous past that she is attached too and the forces at hand that will stop at nothing to get revenge. With frienship, love and family standing in the balance will unexpected relations stand and fight with her or will she be left alone in darkeness. Her life is like a letter to the stars penned with tears, heartbreak and fear begging for a change in her destiny. But what will their reply be? Nothing is ever as it seems. The brightest days can burn out and produced the most horrific flames. The prettiest smiles can hide the most cynical and sadistic glares. Laughing is no longer pure it's more sad than anything. "Polaris can you stay by my side." His words come out soft. Almost grazing my skin and erupting my pores. "I can't, not anymore."I swallowed as my eyes felt tense and my breathing slowed down. "Please." His voice goes lower and he staggers a bit. It was clear he had been drinking. But why? "No more Caleb." I shook my head in dismay. "Smile once more, you promised." He reached out to hold my hand but I pull away. "Promises are meant to be broke." Not all stories has a happy ending. Not all who wander are lost.
