The Boy Who Survived

The dull ache that lingered across Harry's forehead stayed with him every time he slept. Years ago, Harry would be riddled with night terrors that shot pain through his scar like a hot iron - but times have changed, Harry has changed, and all he had left now was numbness....

Note - I wanted to imagine what Harry would really feel after the Battle of Hogwarts, after all the traumatic events of his life had finally been resolved. I believe that Harry would be depressed, or at least would need to take some time to adjust. This story is the first piece of creative writing I've written in quite a few years, but I've been enjoying reading a lot of other people's stories recently so thought I'd give it a go. Each of the parts will be fairly short, and I'll keep writing as long as I enjoy doing so. Enjoy :) ⚡️
