"The Most Dangerous Game", also published as "The Hounds of Zaroff", is a short story by Richard Connell, first published in Collier's on January 19, 1924. The story features a big-game hunter from New York City who falls off a yacht and swims to what seems to be an abandoned and isolated island in the Caribbean, where he is hunted by a Russian aristocrat. The story is inspired by the big-game hunting safaris in Africa and South America that were particularly fashionable among wealthy Americans in the 1920s.

[A Hunter x Hunter Story] Fleeing her life as the associate to a self-serving con artist, brazen, hot-tempered Kakume Reznikov becomes entangled with the Red Hands terrorist group in an attempt to give her life meaning. Her targets? The Kakin Empire, where she was held as Royal Dog in her youth, the flesh collectors and elites of Yorkshin City, and the Hunter Association. Grappling with the pitfalls of coming face to face with fragments of her past, she swears never to let her resolve waiver. But things are not always what they seem.
