A Twisted Love

Imagine that you are a 16-year-old boy named Garrett. You have been with the love of your life, Sammi, for a year, when suddenly she walks off into the night and disappears. After a lot of police questioning, you are left on your own after pulling away from everyone that you care about as you cling to the hope that she will return.
Fast forward two years, to when her burial ceremony takes place. The likelihood of her return is very slim, although they have yet to find a body. Then, one day, shortly before you are to leave for college, you find two mysterious letters from Sammi...with very suspicious dates. Is Sammi alive? Will she return for you?
Now, imagine that you are an 18-year-old girl named Kelsi. You were the new girl at the start of senior year and have walked into the whole Sammi mess. You are the only person that Garrett is willing to talk to, although you doubt if he considers you a real friend. You have an ugly secret that you struggle to deal with as time progresses in your friendship with Garrett. Will you be able to keep your secret and your friendship? Will everyone be safe in the end?
As both Garrett and Kelsi head off to college, things get extremely complicated in their lives. Will they be able to count on each other to get through, or will everything fall apart in one major disaster?

This book is told from a split perspective, alternating chapters between the POV of Garrett and Kelsi. Each chapter is labeled with the perspective that it is told in for ease of reference and reading.
