the chronicles of the twenty first century avatar - phan

when the earthbender born avatar, akari, passed away, people were scared. this avatar had led them through two world wars right into the beginning of the twenty first century. the world had come a long way from the industrial period when avatar korra lived. akari was japanse born, desended straight from the great avatar aang's bloodline. but the people were scared because this avatar would be born into the new world- they could be from absoluetly anywhere.
when firebender daniel howell is born, he isn't even considered to be the avatar. he comes from a dirt poor family, living in motels one day and on the street the next. when a rally celebrating avatar aang comes through town, daniel howell discovers his unique abilities.
