Many years ago Dionysus lost his wife Ariadne in the Battle of Argos. He was promised by Persephone she would return to the Earth many years later. However, in the time between, Zeus banned all God's from the mortal world since the presence of Deity's only caused chaos for humans. They would fight wars for their God's and kill one another over petty things.

In the small town of Crestfall Dionysus has found Ariadne and broken his father's law. He intends to win her heart again, but this has only enraged Zeus who seeks to drag his son back by any means necessary.

The presence of a God on Earth has caused other supernatural beings to move. Do they intend to use him or simply destroy him? The only certainty is that a holy war is coming to Crestfall leaving Ariadne and the other citizens in the crossfire.
