Tess was just an ordinary teenager who went to school and had a job paying minimum wage. She lived with her parents, an older brother, and her grandmother who was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. They lived in a very small town outside of Seattle. She had two best friends and some other friends who she talked to occasionally. Everything was normal her whole life. A good family, a nice house, a nice school, good grades, etc. Yet she always felt something was different about herself. She tried following many paths but none ever worked out. Until one day, everything changed.
